    Position: On-Call Power Washing Technician
    Location: Stamford, CT
    Employment Type: 1099 Independent Contractor

    We’re looking for two reliable, on-call Power Washing Technicians to join our team for flexible, per diem exterior cleaning work. This is a great opportunity for those seeking extra income through hands-on, outdoor contracting work.

    Pay: $20–$30/hour (based on experience)
    Schedule: Per diem / On-call (3–8 hour shifts)
    Payment: Weekly via direct deposit

    What We Provide:

    • Commercial van

    • Power washing equipment

    • Cleaning solutions

    • Tablet for job tracking

    What You’ll Need:

    • Your own work boots

    • Weather-appropriate outdoor work clothing

    Please Note:

    • This is a 1099 independent contractor role.

    • Contractors are responsible for their own taxes and insurance.

Qualifications

    • Must be 18 years or older

    • U.S. citizen or valid work visa

    • Valid driver’s license with clean driving record (you will be driving the company van)

    • Physically fit and capable of lifting 50+ lbs, climbing ladders, and working outdoors

    • Comfortable working in heat, cold, and wet weather conditions

    • Able to operate a tablet for processing payments/invoices (training provided)

    • Previous experience in pressure washing, construction, landscaping, or similar physical labor is a plus

    • Bilingual (English/Spanish or other) preferred

    • Dependable, responsible, and able to work independently

    • Must have good communication skills and attention to detail

Requirements

    • Must be a U.S. Citizen or have valid work authorization 

    • Valid driver’s license with clean driving record


Responsibilities

    • Perform power washing on homes, buildings, decks, driveways, and other exterior surfaces

    • Drive company van to and from job sites

    • Set up, operate, and maintain power washing equipment

    • Use ladders to clean second-story or elevated surfaces

    • Process digital invoices and payments using a company-issued tablet

    • Maintain a clean, safe job site and follow all safety protocols

    • Represent Kal Power-Washing with professionalism and care

    • Be available for scheduled or short-notice on-call assignments
